Our vineyard and the team
Between tradition and modernity...
a long family history from generation to generation!
My family has been part of the vineyard since 1664.
My great-grandfather was even a cooper and winemaker.
During the Second World War, Katzenthal was bombed and suffered heavy destruction.
My grandfather Justin rebuilt the propriety and the vineyards from 1951. He took great care of his 6 hectares of vines with my grandmother Reine, and brought his grapes to the cooperative cellar in Bennwihr.
In 1979, my father Jean-Luc took over the business and began to vinify his wines and sell them with his cousin Clément until 1999. Then, he continued this great adventure alongside my mother, Michèle, who created our gites in Katzenthal.
Since 2008, after a degree passed in viticulture and oenology, I took over the family business after my studies and since then the three of us have been working here, supported by our team.
With the knowledge of the terroirs acquired by our ancestors, and the transmissions made from generation to generation, from father to daughter, we happily mix the ancestral know-how with modern techniques.
